Trails holding well.  Ride it while we have it!  Watch for 💩  on S49 in the two fields by Rt 14.  See post above for details

Southernmost trails are marginal.  Trails Noth and east are fair with up to a 3 inch hard packed base.  Picked up a trace to 2 inches of lake fluff last night mainly north and east.  Expect spring conditions, hard and frozen in the morning and soft by the evening.  We have come across a few mor fallen ash trees so ple…[Read more]

We got another 2 to 3 inches of good snow last night.  Everything firmed up nicely and is open.  Clubs to the east are open as well, please check the NYSSA map for full up to date details.  The base is hard 0 to 3 inches with powder on top. It is almost March and this won’t last forever!

Everything has frozen back down, and we got 1 to 3 inches of new powder.  There is a 0 to 2 inch base still remaining in many areas.  Plowed roads are bare.  we will keep them open as long as possible with crop crossings in mind to prevent damage.

Too warm and the trails are mush.  South trails are showing bare spots and trails to the east have closed.

Hopefully it gets cold enough and we do not have to start over

The warmth has not really hurt too much.  6+ inch base is frozen hard in the morning and softens as temps rise throughout the day.  Straight open fields are still flat some of the curves are thin due to the throttle jockeys spinning the snow out.  Some of the narrow-wooded trails may be snirty.  Plowed roads are thin but the…[Read more]

PB100 and tucker

Trails continue to be groomed and are in good shape.  It is going to be warm in the day and below freezing at night helping to keep them smooth.  Hopefully it don’t get too warm this week and they hold well. 

Got an inch or so of new snow on the packed groomed trails.  It is a bit warner today and things will soften especially where the trails run close to the roads.  Warm up this week should not hurt too bad, but it may be too warm to groom.

I rode 100 miles from Clyde on S48 to C4 to S42 to Chimney Bluffs state Park.  The park has a few trees down, but they are passable.  Spectacular views of the lake. Picked up 3 to 6 inches of fresh fluff on an 8+ inch packed base.  Not much more than get it while we got it! 

Most trails are flat with a few bumps.  Got a few inches of snow and sleet on top of a 6+ inch packed base.  Best season in quite a few years.  Enjoy it while we got it!

6+ inch base on most trails.  Cold has helped to keep them smooth.  Groomed areas are the excellent rating Good is for the others.  PB100 is fixed and we will be trying to get those trails groomed this week.

Tucker groomed C4 along 104 to S40A and south to South Butler. 

NH groomed S55 from Clyde to Savannah and back then S55 to S48 and north the S48/S49 Junction

3+ inches of new snow on top of a 6+ inch packed base.  With the cold the trails have remained smooth and are not requiring constant grooming.  The Marion side trails may be getting a bit rough as we snagged the PB100 drag on a stump and broke it form the hitch.  Hydraulic hoses got ripped away as well.  It was just off…[Read more]

Picked up another 3+ inches of new snow on a 6+ inch packed base.  Groomers are out doing their thing.  Remember to use caution crossing the rt 414 bridge in Clyde and the groomer hooked a tree in ripped the drag off in S49 by Rt 88.  It is off the trail but use caution.

Light snow falling have another inch or so new on top of a solid 6+ inch base in most spots.  The snow can be softer along 104 where some of the salt from the road mixes in.  Groomers will be out later tonight and tomorrow

Almost every trail has been groomed at least once if not multiple times.  The majority are flat with a 6+inch base Ride it while we got it.

All trails west of Rt 88 were groomed yesterday.  All three groomers are out today and trying to get everything flat again.  The trails really got beat up with the extremely heavy traffic over the weekend.  We are working all groomers to get them all flat again.

All trails have a 6+ inch base.  C4 along 104 is hard to keep smooth with all the traffic and its proximity to the 104-road salt.  All groomed trails are in good shape.  We are trying to get them all groomed back out again.  The corridor trail from Pt Gibson north is being groomed today.  There was a car stuck on the trail on S49…[Read more]

All the groomed trails are in great shape.  Trails that have not been groomed like C4 from Pt Gibson North may be a bit rougher.  Heavy traffic can change the conditions fast, but we are trying to keep up with it. The cold is really helping to keep things nice.

Please take note of the construction that will take place in Clyde on the Rt 414 bridge starting February 2nd.  The post has been pinned to all forums.

Zoomed in on the bridge.  All snowmobiles MUST Travel on the east side of the bridge:

The Rt 414 bridge in Clyde will be reduced to one lane starting next week for construction. We have been in contact with the village, and they are going to require all traffic down the center. 3 to 6 more inches of new snow over the past 2 days.  6+ inch base where groomed. Groomers have been trying to keep up with the heavy traffic. The eastern end trails have been groomed the most and ran last evening until midnight.

Groomed trails have and excellent 2 to 6 inch base. Trails that have not yet been groomed are good.  Groomers have been out every day.  Please let us know if you come across any hazards that may need to be addressed.
