    •Treasures Report:
o Balance $12,000 with $7,000-$8,000 anticipated with the October disbursement.
o Club membership has increased to $30. This is a NYSSA minimum, with $5 going to NYSSA and $1 to Sled NY.
o Need to encourage people to register their snowmobiles before December 1st. This will help increase the amount of funding we get in January. We get 70% of our funding based on the number of registered snowmobiles by December 1st.
o Our stolen culvert pipes have been recoved. The State Police are still holding them as evidence. We have an interested buyer for one of them for $900.
o New Holland sale did not materialize. It is still up for sale.

    •501(c)(3)status:
o The Club is now officially Lakeshore riders, Inc. 2 Montezuma Street, P.O. Box 399, Lyons NY 14489
o Continuing the paperwork for full non-profit organization. It is a very time intensive process and is anticipated to be completed within 10 months.
o The current status is in the hands of the attorneys
o We have to fill out the long form for the application will current assets and future income expectations.
o We also will need to file taxes for the past two years.
o A new web site is being designed for the corporation. Launch time frame is anticipated to be in August.

    •Trails:
o We have to apply for a trail application every year from the DOT and DEC. The DEC permit covers the Lakeshore Marshes, which covers the majority fo S42 and S41 of the northern trail system. Last season signs had been placed on unapproved DEC land, which delayed our application approval. This activity can close trails resulting in the loss of trail funding. This can all be avoided by following proper procedures. When putting signs in place, if there is any doubt on location, please contact one of the club officers before proceeding.
o We have a vendor that will be making us 1 x 1.5 inch 6’ hardwood posts for the signs at a cost of 89₵ each.
o 6 Kiosks and mile signs are currently being made.
o There are many new deer fences that have been put up. We need people to go out and check to see if there are going to be any trail issues.
o The section of C4 from East Palmyra to Port Gibson is officially closed due to lack of landowner permission. We are looking for volunteers to start looking for a reroute ASAP. This is the only corridor that links WNY to the east.
o We will be begin to put signs up in mid-October, but won’t really be able to do too much until November 1st.

    •Groomers:
o Transmission has been rebuilt on the Red Bell groomer.
o The yellow Bombardier will be put up for sale.
o The New Holland is still for sale.
o We will be looking for used replacement groomers.
o Grant application for new groomer cannot be completed until we get 501(c)(3) status
