    November 4, 2021 Minutes

    18 Present, 18 voting members in good standing.

    Meeting called to order at 7:40 PM

     

    October 7, 2021, Minutes approved with the correction of adding the rate of 4.25% to the Groomer Financing.

     

    President/Vice President Report:

    • Report was made on how we conduct club meetings with regard to parliamentary procedure.
    • Thanks to Ted, Bryan, Steve, Tim, and Jarad for the work on the Tucker
    • State funding has not been released by the state yet.

    Treasures Report:

    • Current membership 110
    • Previous Balance $54,933.78
    • Current Balance $36,279.05 plus $917.76 reserve for groomer fund.
    • Expenses of $82,054.73 and Deposits of $62,444.00. This includes the loan and transfers from savings account to purchase the PB100 Groomer.
    • A motion made by Bryan and seconded by Jarad, to change the $1400.00 monthly fund transfer to the groomer fund be changed to Capitol Equipment Fund, was passed 17 in favor to 1 against.
    • The previous motion was amended by John and seconded by Todd to reduce the $1400.00 to $700.00 was passed 17 in favor to 1 against.

    Trail Projects:

    • Reitz Rd culverts need to be replaced for reroute. Dates will fill when in place.
    • 104 Trail improvements:
      • RR track crossing west of Stone Road: RR Company may not be able to get the pad moved this year, but need to get hill leveled with excavator and skid steer.  Need to check with DOT to place a culvert in the same area.
      • Area between Countryman and Ridge Roads: Long process need to work with DOT and DEC.
      • Mudge Creek Bridge: Need engineering plans drawn up.
    • Four deer gate sparkers have been ordered to use on open gates to fenced orchards.
    • C4 bridge on Smith Rd in Marion had some old telephone poles set to replace bridge. $430 was executively approved to purchase decking to get the bridge decked.

    Groomer Committee Report:

    • Working on getting the studs off the PB100 so that it can be put inside the barn.
      • Motion made by John and seconded by Todd to purchase the proper tool to remove studs for approximately $350.
      • Previous motion tabled pending results of checking on possible solution to remove studs without tool.
    • A motion made by Ted and seconded by Jarad, to increase the purchase amount for the track on the Tucker from $5,000 to $6,500, was unanimously approved.
    • Need to swap the worst track on the Tucker with our spare. This will leave two emergency use spare tracks.
    • A motion was made by Todd and seconded by Bryan, to have Dusty look at the LMC motor, by pulling the head to diagnose the source of the coolant loss, was unanimously approved
      • We need to get the LMC delivered to Dusty’s garage in the next two weeks. Todd and Mike will be the executive contacts and report back results to executive committee as needed.

    Miscellaneous:

    • Water tanks need to be moved inside the barn.
    • Garbage totes have been purchased for the barn with will call emptying.
    • Ted will check on the cost of a septic system for next summer and get the costs of a port-a-potty to be used at the barn until May 2022.
