    October 3, 2019 Minutes approved

    • Treasures Report:
      • Balance is $19503.32 plus $4500 reserve for groomer fund.
      • $3000 still due from Sale of the Bell
      • Have not received the trail funds from the state.
    • Trails:
      • Need to contact all landowners to let them know when we plan on signing. State land exempt from notification.
      • Deer fencing is being put up daily and we need to be actively working on ideas to work with landowners to keep our trails open.
      • S55 bridge over the Erie Canal needs to be covered. We have some old conveyor belt at the site to be placed on the bridge to help protect it.
      • Spring lake bridge needs to be set in place.
      • Need a possible reroute on S48 east of Preemption Rd along deer fence to prevent fence damage.
      • Need the RR bed between Wolcott and Red Creek brush hogged (old S41)
      • Need trail between RT 370 and Cottage Inn brush hogged
      • Need S40 south of Elks Club in Wolcott brush hogged
      • Trail signing party Nov 30 and Dec 1. Meet at groomer barn at 8AM

     

    • Groomers:
      • Tucker is at Adam’s garage getting the lockers installed and undercoating the cab.
      • Need to move the LMC to the groomer barn.
      • Need to check and grease all fittings on the groomers
    • Groomer Barn:
      • The Groomer Barn ceiling is in place and will be insulated 11/9
      • Thank you, Crown Electric, for donating $2500 of electric wiring
      • Thank you, Todd Furber, for the $500 donation to the groomer barn
      • Groomer barn improvements look to be coming in about $2500 under budget.
      • Next stages would be boiler, natural gas service ($3,000-$4000), garage door openers.
    • Miscellaneous:
      • Poker Run will happen in January. With 10 stops. Need raffle ideas
      • Stones open house Dec 7th 9-4. There will be a snowmobile safety course as well.
      • We have 3800 Super Raffle tickets. Looking to send out in March
      • Working on new legal bylaws for the club to complete 501 (c)(3)
      • Need a wishlist to post for items need by the club
