March 5, 2026, Meeting Minutes

18 voting members were present.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM by the President.

 

February 5, 2026, were accepted with no changes.

 

Treasures Report:

• The current Membership 365.
• Previous Balance $46,820.82.
• Current Balance $41,027.47.
• Savings $20,007.35.
• Expenses of $7,647.35.
• Deposits of $1,854.77.
• Total Funds: $61,034.82.
• Groomer loan balance $65,309.70.
• Final Labor was turned in: Total grant $56,180.00 All expenses $78,197.14 difference of $22,017.14 above grant.
• Tabled to April meeting to further discuss paydown of the NH tractor.
• Working on application for tax exemption of property tax.

Trail Projects:

• Mudge Creek –Waiting on DOT personnel change – tabled to April.
• Need all trail captains to be aware of signing requirement to keep stakes 25 feet apart when possible.
• Need good inventory for new sign order.
• Dale is looking for a new stake vendor. Getting additional information from Dave.
• Need to get a full landowner database address list in addition to the 49 that get vouchers.
• Working on local trail to Bridge Pub. Initially it was going to go from East Palmyra, but it would have been necessary to cross CSX tracks with no gate, which would be very difficult to get permission.  An alternate route from S43B at Quick Fill is being worked on with Steve, the pub owner, taking lead of the development team.

Groomer Committee Report:

• Wipers have been replaced on groomers where needed.
• Jared took care of NH washer fluid reservoir.
• 2025/26 Grooming 252 hours 1145.5 miles

Miscellaneous:

• Mig welder and acetylene torches are in the barn.
• Super Raffle and EOY newsletter meeting March 19^th.
• Club Elections:
  • President: Andy Reinhardt (2 years)
  • Vice President: Jeremy McBride (2 years)
  • Treasurer: Steve Durham
  • Secretary: John Renahan
  • Board of Directors: Dale Daunce, Rich Rice, Mike Means, Bryan Klekota, Jared Hillegeer (2 years), Todd Furber (2 years), Todd Lupo (2 Years).
• Motion made by Jeramy and seconded by Mike to put together a landowner thank you letter along with 2 pre-entered 2026 Super Raffle Tickets and a Lakeshore Riders Landowner club sticker. Motion passed 16-0 2 abstained.
• Motion made by Mike and seconded by Ted to get proposals to grove the barn floor to get water to flow to the floor drains not to exceed $2,000. Motion passed unanimously.
