– 20 Members present
– Moved for club to seek 501c3 non-profit
– Approved to secure funds to hire a grant writer to seek a grant for new groomer
– Committee created to seek reroute of trail S40 through Wolcott
– Committee created to develop a non-funded local trail to Port Bay from S40 at Clapper Rd. Land owner permissions and GPS route are being worked on.
– Unable to connect Savannah trail S55 to Port Byron Club trail in Montezuma due to crossing 1 mile of Federal land. Trail is being developed to connect back to the north to Red Creek. GPS and land owner permission is on process.
– S55 signage through Clyde needs to be worked on to keep snowmobiles away from CSX property and route it under the 414 bridge to get snowmobiles to the trail east of Clyde as it crosses Rt31 toward Savannah.
– Club Sponsorship is being changed for next year to included trail signs and locations to sponsored businesses. Also we will be offering advertising on the groomer. Sponsorship donations and information will be available by September 2014.
– Need a count of members interested in attending the NYSSA Annual Meeting in Rochester NY April 25th-27th.
