February 1, 2024, Minutes
14 Present.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM
January 4, 2024, minutes were accepted with changes to raffle per Ted.
President/Vice President Report
Treasures Report:
- Current membership 243.
- Previous Balance $35,420.88.
- Current Balance $35,666.67 plus $31,609.24 reserve for groomer fund.
- Expenses of $2,386.69 and Deposits of $2,632.48
- $10,442.00 left on PB groomer.
Trail Projects:
- Mudge Creek – Contacted contractor. Starting to get details together to confirm engineer design. Going to start to purchase materials.
- Ruts on C4 from logging in Marion area needs to be evaluated.
Groomer Committee Report:
- Groomer committee looking into a roller for packing trails and drag mounted sickle bar. Need update.
Miscellaneous:
- Town water project got pushed back and water will not be available until late spring 2024. Restroom still needs to be completed along with a sink. Rich has a sink and Jeremy will install it. Still need a toilet. Need a volunteer to get put in place so we can just turn on the water when available..
- 501(c)(3) status –resubmitted to correct a few filing issues.
- Dale is heading up a project to assist with the recovery of the fuel tax used offroad for club reimbursement. John will add to the Website soon.
- Fender Flares for the UTV to keep mud out of cab. Ted to follow up.
- Going to organize a Chicken BBQ for Saturday March 2, 2024. Jeremy, Jared, Andy Ted, and Steve head the committee. Many items have been purchased. Special thanks to Secor Lumber for the donations for the BBQ.
- Ted has printed tickets for Raffle.
- Super Raffle Tickets have been received and created web page for them. Tickets have been stamped and we reordered another 1500 as we were short.
- Port-a-potty has been donated for the Chicken BBQ.
- Nominations are open to anyone that want to run for open Officer/BoD positions:
- Treasurer and Secretary are open and both Steve D and John R have been nominated respectively.
- There are 5 BoD positions open and so far the following 6 have been nominated: Jeremy M, Rich R, Tim C, Bryan K, Mike M, and Todd L.
