January 4 2018 Minutes Approved.

• Treasures Report:
  • Current Membership 405
  • Current balance is $39182 includes last year’s final 30% of $8635, this year’s 70% advance $22977 and advertising deposit of $3900
  • $49856 left on Tucker.
  • $1669 due on insurance.
  • $600 Due in taxes.
  • $900 in fuel and towing expenses.
  • 2018 Super Raffle Tickets will be mailed to all members.
• Trails:
  • We need to know if there are any signs that may have been knocked down or damaged by weather so that they can get replaced.
  • C4 from East Palmyra to Port Gibson needs additional signage.
  • Many trails need more trimming. Most of the upper trails on 104 (C4) have been trimmed.  May need to look at the cost of the hiring an excavator with the brush hog attachment
  • Next major trail expense would be to move the trail C4 between Countryman Road and Ridge Rd west of Wolcott away from the road and closer to the DOT fence. It will require permits and a large financial commitment.
• Groomers:
  • We had an electrical problem drive motor problems with the LMC that should be repaired by Saturday 2/3/18. The hydrostatic drives and coolers were pulled and cleaned along with all the lines.  Some lines were also replaced.  Bogie wheel has been replaced.  Approximate repairs are around $7000.  Machine has 7200 hours and we may need to start looking at a replacement.
  • Tucker had a blower motor fail. Motor was replaced
  • We are looking to train more groomer operators. Please email us at info@lakeshoreriders.org if interested.
• Advertising/Event Committee:
  • Poker run on January 27^th 2018 was successful in that we netted $2000. Everyone had a good time.  We raffled off nearly $1600 in donated prizes.  We would like to thank the winner of the poker run for donating back $100 of the winnings and the 50/50 winner that donated the entire winnings back to the club.  Thank you again!
  • We are extending a huge thank you to all the Sponsors and volunteers who made the Poker Run a success.
  • We will be planning an outdoor Winter Party in February. We will need a volunteer team to run it (more details will follow)
• 501 (c)(3):
  • Final paperwork has been submitted to the lawyers. This should be in the final stages for approval.
• Miscellaneous:
  • NYSSA/Sled NY Forum will be in Niagara Falls. If interested in representing our club at the Forum please let us know by the March meeting.
  • Please continue to send in your 2018 Super Raffle Tickets. We get half of all the proceeds.
  • Elections will be held at the March meeting
