    November 7, 2019 Minutes approved

    • Treasures Report:
      • Balance is $16500 plus $4500 reserve for groomer fund.
      • Current membership 212
      • Outstanding expenses not in above total $6800
      • Deposits not in above total, $700 for sale of Mule, $774 memberships, $4900 advertising, $3000 from sale of Bell
      • Increased insurance on barn to $80,000
      • Renewed Orion GPS service for one more year.
      • Have not received the trail funds from the state.
    • Trails:
      • Need to contact all landowners to let them know when we plan on signing. State land exempt from notification.
      • Deer fencing is being put up daily and we need to be actively working on ideas to work with landowners to keep our trails open.
      • S55 bridge over the Erie Canal needs to be covered. We have some old conveyor belt at the site to be placed on the bridge to help protect it.  We also need a measurement of actual width of bridge for the groomer operators.
      • Spring lake bridge is set in place.

     

    • Groomers:
      • Tucker has lockers installed and a 54” LED light bar hooked to the high beams.
      • Added lights to the rear lighting the drag. Changed hydraulic foot switch to a dash mount.
      • Need to service the LMC fluids and filters
      • Need to check and grease all fittings on the groomers
      • Need to put fuel antibacterial additive to both groomers’ fuel tanks
    • Groomer Barn:
      • Boiler installed, tool room and bathroom framed
      • Thank-you Glen Hopkins, Todd Lupo, Mike Murphy, and Gordie Howie for taking a lead at getting the groomer barn completed to its current state and keeping within $600 of the $12000 budget
      • Gas company was contacted, and they are 6 to 8 weeks out from being able to hook up the NG. First 100 feet will be free and about $150 for the remaining to the barn.
    • Miscellaneous:
      • Poker Run will be January 10th to 25th with 16 stops. Need trail signs and MAP created.
      • Stones open house Dec 7th 9-4. There will be a snowmobile safety course as well.
      • We have 3800 Super Raffle tickets. Looking to send out in March
      • Working on new legal bylaws for the club to complete 501 (c)(3)
      • Need a wish list to post for items need by the club. Shovels for groomers, Handheld groomer spotlights.  Grease guns
