South trails closed.  North trails have a thin icy base. probably wont make it through This week.

1 to 2 inches of new snow on top of a 1 to 2 inch solid ice base.  Trails that are open are extremely icy.  Not enough snow to cover the bare spots that exposed on the southern trails.  Please use the digital map for what is opened and closed NYSSA Trail Map

Trails south of S49 are closed.  C4 along 104 is marginal and should refreeze this weekend.  The open trails are passable but rough, waterholes and some base spots.  Use the NYSSA map for what is open.  The small section of S48 from 104 at brickschoolhouse road to S49 is open is just marked the entire leg closed.

There is still a base, but it is thinning and water holes forming.  Too warm to do anything just hoping is freezes before we lose much more.  Looks like more snow this weekend but not a lot.

It is way too warm to groom and everything is getting soft.  still have a 2-to-4-inch base but it is going downhill fast.  That will make them washboards quickly.  Hopefully we do not get wiped out before it gets cold again.

Trails got beat from the incredibly heavy traffic this weekend.  There is plenty of snow and a good base but they warm temps the next few days will not allow us to groom as often as it needs to be below freezing.  We will try to get out and flatten them weather permitting.

Up to a solid 8 in base most trails are still smooth and flat.  Groomers are out flattening the trails from the heavy traffic yesterday.  Thank you all who stopped at the groomer barn to pay tribute to our VP’s son yesterday.  It was a great turnout!

All the following trails were groomed and then covered with a fresh 1/2 foot of powder snow.

All trails have 1 to 2 feet of snow on an 8″ hard packed base.  Please stop at the groomer barn tomorrow (Saturday 2-22-25) for a burger or hot dog.  Barn will be opened at 9am.  We are having a tribute to one of our members who passed this past year.  We will also have a bonfire later in the day.

Over 1 foot of snow on the ground in all areas up to 8 Inch base and flat on most trails.  Riding on most trails is GREAT!  Ride it while we got it! Majority of the trails have all been groomed at least once.

Lots of fresh powder on the northeast trails.  All other trails have fresh snow on top of a 3 to 4 inch base.  Ride it while we have it.

Not too often you get this.  Most of area has a foot of snow on top of the 3-to-4-inch hard base.  There is still a lot of ice on the trees and limbs may have come down.  Use cation and report any trail obstructions if they cannot be easily moved.
