10 Present.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM
Motion to approve September 1, 2022, minutes was made by Bryan, seconded by Steve, was unanimously approved.
President/Vice President Report:
- Jeremy not available to give Bank LOC status.
- Fuel tank to be stored at Stones needs to be located. Jared to get with Jeremy for details on location.
Treasures Report:
- Current membership 42.
- Previous Balance $6,167.69.
- Current Balance $12,244.22 plus $19,591.51 reserve for groomer fund.
- Expenses of $7,038.06 and Deposits of $13,114.59. Deposits includes $12,600 final 30% from last year’s trail fund.
- 70% trail fund that was to be released in August has not yet been received.
- Request was made for Steve to go over our insurance policies (non-NYSSA) on buildings and vehicles.
Trail Projects:
- Major reroute on S42 which moved JCT 301 with S40. Need to GPS and get the current map updated to reflect the change.
- Pile of trees on S40 north of the Elks club in Wolcott needs to be moved to keep the trail straight.
- Jared to pick up donated brush hog to use during the last week of October. Schedule will be maintained to keep it moving to all areas that need it.
- RR Crossing on C4 west of Stone Road has DOT approval as trail maintenance to grade the two hills and fill in the waterholes on both sides of the tracks. Asking for a volunteer with access ot a dozer to try and schedule this month.
- Mudge Creek- Bridge.
- DOT has approved
- Engineer needed, along with DEC permit. Paperwork has been submitted to DEC. Estimated cost is about $15,000.
- Countryman to Ridge Rd improvement could start with DOT approval. Need to revisit feasibility of this project with a scope of work.
- Tree and stump removal on S49 west of Rt88 is scheduled for the Sunday 10/9.
- Need to check with Jeff B. if there are any trail changes at Lancasters.
Groomer Committee Report:
- Both groomers need full service of fluids and filters. Need to also check all hydraulic lines.
- Mogul Master needs pan welded. Jared has quote on cost from D&D Welding to fix pan with ¼“ steel for $2,000 parts and labor. A motion was made by Ted and seconded by Ted and unanimously approved to secure $2,500 for repair of the Mogul master drag.
- PB has a hydraulic leak in the sight glass seal will be looked at with the maintenance of the groomers.
- Orion GPS units need to be plugged in and tested. PB is done Jeremy will install the Tucker. Need this done so we can get the units tested.
- The following will also be done with the service maintenance of the groomers: PB 100 needs rear window replaced, and the passenger seat locked.
- Ted is going to contact the vendor on where the Tucker replacement track is.
- The old mogul master and the Bombardier groomer that was approve for purchase was sold to someone else.
Miscellaneous:
- Town water project got pushed back and water will not be available until the spring 2023. Restroom needs to be completed along with a sink. We could use a volunteer to install and plumb the toilet and sink. We have a port-a-potty secured for the winter.
- We can have the gas turned off between April and October and back on again at no cost. This will remove the delivery charges during that time. This has been tabled to discuss at the April meeting.
- We have been offered four (4) 32’ I-beams, they are at the barn for use.
- The following amendment to the bylaws was unanimously approved. The full bylaws document has been posted on the web site in the About US à Club Officer section.
- Change Article 10 – Club disbandment, Section 4 – Asset Disposal
- If it is the consensus of the above stated vote to dissolve the club, all assets shall be disposed of under the supervision of the Board of Directors. From these proceeds first all debts shall be paid in full and if there is any remaining balance, this balance shall be distributed to current active members as required by law.
