• Treasures Report:
  • Balance $20,000 which includes our October 30% trail disbursement.
  • Old Lakeshore Snowdevil’s account will close out once NYSSA’s direct deposit information is updated. The new Lakeshore Riders account is now active.
  • All funds from the old account have been transferred to the new account.

• 501(c)(3)status:
  • The Club is now officially Lakeshore riders, Inc. 2 Montezuma Street, P.O. Box 399, Lyons NY 14489
  • Once updates from the lawyers are received we will give further updates on our status.

• Trails:
  • S41 trail (railroad bed) use by snowmobiles is being looked at by the lawyers of Wayne County and RG&E. The way it is written there is a possible conflict in the use of the trail by  our club.  We are looking at ways to make sure the easement does not close that section of trail.
  • There are many new deer fences that have been put up. We need people to go out and check to see if there are going to be any trail issues.  We are possibly going to be testing a “curtain gate.”  It will consist of an opening in the fence with an overhead curtain of heavy plastic strips.  It will be tall and wide enough for farm tractors and implements which will be more than adequate for the groomer and snowmobiles.  We will have them well marked and signed
  • The section of C4 from East Palmyra to Port Gibson is still officially closed due to lack of landowner permission. We need someone to start looking for a reroute ASAP.  Please contact us by clicking on the Contact Us menu item if you can help us reopen this trail.  This is the only corridor that links WNY to the east, we really need someone to step up and volunteer.
  • We will be begin to put signs up in mid-October, but won’t really be able to do too much until November 1^st.
  • Need to get a landowner letter out to inform them of trail signing activity.

• Groomers:
  • Formed a groomer committee that is currently looking for a used groomer.
  • The yellow Bombardier will be put up for sale.
  • The New Holland has been reposted for sale.
  • Grant application for new groomer cannot be completed until we get 501(c)(3) status.

• Kiosks:
  • We have the samples for the mile markers and they are going to be made in the next few weeks.
  • Some of the material for the kiosks has been may be donated by some local companies.
  • We looking into attracting advertisers to help raise club revenue.
  • A motion was passed to create banners with the club logo for events.

• Chimney Bluffs State Park:
  • The state is looking to promote Chimney Bluffs.
  • We will be marking it a secondary parking area.
  • It has year round heated full facility restrooms.
  • We will be getting it listed on the web page.

• Snowmobile Safety courses:
  • Check the forum under events for more details.
