    November 2, 2023, Minutes

    15 Present.

    Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM

     

    October 5, 2023, minutes were accepted with no changes.

     

    President/Vice President Report

    Treasures Report:

    • Current membership 100.
    • Previous Balance $15,405.39.
    • Current Balance $9,280.84 plus $29,355.39 reserve for groomer fund.
    • Expenses of $6,680.55 and Deposits of $556.00.

    Trail Projects:

    • Mudge Creek – Progress has stalled. May not get done until the Spring
    • Stumps on S49 west of Rt88 are being looked at by Empire Tree. Jared and Ted to update.
    • Posted help needed for C4 trail trimming.
    • BobCat to be donated to brush hog trails from 11/20-27.

    Groomer Committee Report:

    • Groomer batteries are in Jared to install.
    • Jason will fix bogie and 2 leaking seals on the Tucker.
    • The left front track needs to be changed.
    • Need to repair leaking seal on the Mogul Master Drag.
    • Groomer committee looking into a roller for packing trails and drag mounted sickle bar. Need update.
    • PB100 hatch parts are in. Need to install.
    • The groomer committee has focus changed to looking into a Class A Tractor with 4 independent tracks (85HP or higher at PTO). They can start the process within the committee prior to getting final approvement from all the club membership.  Members Todd L., Tim C., Dave V., Mike M., and Jared (President).

    Miscellaneous:

    • Town water project got pushed back and water will not be available until late 2023 to early 2024. Restroom still needs to be completed along with a sink.  Rich has a sink and Jeremy will install it.  Still need a toilet. – tabled to after January.
    • 501(c)(3) status –Attorney gave presentation. Need to resubmit application after minor rejection.  Possibly need to submit long form.
    • Dale is heading up a project to assist with the recovery of the fuel tax used offroad for club reimbursement. John will add to Website in December.
    • Fender Flares for the UTV to keep mud out of cab. Ted to follow up.
    • Ted would like to do a raffle for grills. Possibly do with a Spring Chicken BBQ.
    • Super Raffle Tickets have been ordered. Creating a web site page.
