Treasures Report:
Approximately $15,000 account balance
Final 30% reimbursement for 2013/14 was received which was $7900, which does not include Canal Town�s. First 70% for 2014/15 should be received in February. Remember our reimbursement can only come from the money of sleds registered before December 1st. Please help all clubs by registering your sled before December
Sold 1 of the culvert pipes for $1050.Trails:
With all the trails that need signing we are asking for volunteers to take ownership of trail sections to be sure that they are properly signed. We did a signing course during the meeting. We need people to volunteers to take ownership of trail sections. Please contact us at lakeshoresnowdevils@gmail.com
NYS Parks has changed all trail numbers and junctions. New numbers are still not available. We will probably use the old numbers and change them next year.
55MPH speed limit signs made for reminders of NYS maximum snowmobile trail speed limit should be ready.
New PDF is almost complete for this year�s map. New signs with laminates will be made for the junctions.
Trail from Rt 14 to Brick Schoolhouse Rd will be closed and rerouted north to Shaker Heights to Brick Church Rd. The Junction to Brantling/Lyons/Clyde (old S48) will be rerouted at Brickschool House and 104 to go along the south side of 104, then through the woods and then into the orchard to connect back to the original trail. Trail needs to be cleaned up from the trees and stumps that are to be cleared for the 12 feet wide trail.
Extending the old trail from Brantling to Lyons to continue to the canal trail.
We will need these and the proposed Bay Bridge to 104 reroute GPS�d.
Need to finish the reroute of old 41 from the Elks club in Wolcott to 104 to avoid the railroad tracks in the village. Still inprogress.
Culvert in the ditch at 104/104A by the 104 Store, and in the stream bed on Lake Bluff road just north of the 104/414 Park & Ride had been completed.
Railroad bed (old S41) is going to be brush hogged. No update on progress.
We need some trail permission along (old S42B) north to the State Park to move the trail off of Lake Bluff Rd.
Dozer work completed on 104 between 414 and Fifth Rd, and 104 on the hill between Brown Rd and Lasher Rd.Groomers:
LMC is has been moved to Todd�s so that the tracks can be removed to inspect the cogs and track alignment.
The New Holland rear tires have been replaced. Tracks need to be put back on and remaining maintenance finished.
Need to add the 2 Canal town groomers to the insurance policy.
Canal town merger:
Their president was added to the Board of directors.
501 3c status:
Continuing the paperwork for new corporation to form new club Lakeshore Riders as a non-profit organization.Club house:
Lancasters is going to complete the cut down of the entrance and push all the fill to raise the pad area.
The electric has been spotted by RG&E. $3,000 will be needed to install it once we are ready.
Unused culvert pipes that were going to be used to span Mud creek have been posted on Craig�s List. 3 of the 4 remain.NYSSA 2015 Super Raffle Tickets Fundraiser:
We will be getting the 2015 Super Raffle Tickets by next meeting. We will be making a Sticky forum post for those that would like to purchase and sell the tickets.
