    January 8, 2026, Meeting Minutes

    16 voting members were present.

    Meeting called to order at 7:40 PM by the President.

     

    December 4, 2025, were accepted with no changes.

     

    Treasures Report:

    • The current Membership 300.
    • Previous Balance $52,523.37.
    • Current Balance $51,027.68.
    • Savings $20,005.73.
    • Expenses of $2,860.69.
    • Deposits of $1,365.00.
    • Total Funds: $71,033.41.
    • Groomer loan balance $68,308.84.
    • Working on property tax exemption with our 501(c)(3) being complete.
    • Motion was made by Dave and seconded by Ted to donate $100 to the North Rose Fire Department’s

    Trail Projects:

    • National Grid ROW paperwork got missed on S55. We have completed the packet, signed, and signed by the municipalities to keep the trail on the NG ROW open.  We have taken proactive steps to make sure this is done next year during the Phase II grant application in August.
    • With the gravel in place at the C4 RR crossing the safety of the crossing is dramatically improved. We now have a water drainage problem and need to look into fixing it.
    • Mudge Creek –Waiting on DOT personnel change – tabled to February.
    • Shaker Heights safety reroute is still being pursued with DEC.
    • Culvert with gravel was installed on S40 by Pamona.
    • A new culvert was installed on S55B at Westbury Rd and the Cayuga County line.
    • Improve the signage through Ken S orchard. Gave Rich newer arrow markers to be used on the S48.

    Groomer Committee Report:

    • The Tucker needs new wipers.
    • PB hitch has been welded and repaired by Tim.
    • Todd L is going to donate a MIG welder. If it does now meet our needs we may have to purchase one.  Mike M had quotes for a new welder with all the safety equipment for approximately $2,100.
    • We need some miscellaneous tools for groomer maintenance. Large pry bars, socket style filter wrench.
    • NH needs a new washer fluid reservoir.
    • PB100 has small weeping leaks on the drive and will need to be rebuilt in the spring. Drivers need to monitor the fluid levels before and after grooming.
    • PB100 may need new hydraulic hoses replaced after the season.

    Miscellaneous:

    • Due to the meltdown, we are going to tentatively reschedule a family ride with cookout at the groomer barn on January 31st.
    • Bank cards have been fixed so that they can be used in the NH and PB100 groomers.
    • Ted ordered a fireproof safe for the club’s legal documents.
    • Safety course is set up for January 19th. Ted Andy, Bryan, Jeremy, and others volunteered to clean the barn and set up chairs and provide lunch for the 20 people attending.
