SnowmanKeymasterFebruary 5, 2026, Meeting Minutes
16 voting members were present.
Meeting called to order at 7:35 PM by the President.
January 8, 2026, were accepted with no changes.
Treasures Report:
- The current Membership 360.
- Previous Balance $51,026.83.
- Current Balance $46,820.82.
- Savings $20,006.58.
- Expenses of $6,846.86.
- Deposits of $2,640.00.
- Total Funds: $66,827.40.
- Groomer loan balance $66,814.01.
- Donation of $100 to the North Rose Fire Department was made to support their annual fund raiser.
Trail Projects:
- Rt 414 bridge in Clyde is under construction. Snowmobiles can cross with the traffic light or use the east sidewalk with caution.
- Mudge Creek –Waiting on DOT personnel change – tabled to April.
- Shaker Heights safety reroute is still being pursued. Avon DEC has been contacted.
- Need to pass on the signing requirement to keep stakes 25 feet apart when possible.
- S48 and other sections need new signs. Need S55C trail markers for Conquest connector.
- Dale is looking for a new stake vendor. He has a few quotes and will bring them to the next meeting for further discussion.
Groomer Committee Report:
- Wipers have been replaced on groomers where needed.
- Previous motion for Mike M to purchase a new MIG welder with all the safety equipment for approximately $2,100 is on process.
- A motion was made by Dave and seconded by Mike to purchase Acetylene torch kit with cart not to exceed $500. The tanks were previously donated by Dave and filled. The motion passed unanimously.
- NH needs a new washer fluid reservoir.
- GPS sites have been contacted to add users for access to locate groomers.
- Jay changed the track on the Tucker.
- The Tucker has a vibration that is trying to be pinpointed.
Miscellaneous:
- Ted has a new graphics art vendor and can make us LSR decals as well as clothing and other miscellaneous items with our LSR logo. If interested, please contact Ted.
- Fireproof safe for the club’s legal documents is in the barn.
- Safety course on January 19th was a great success. We had 21 students of all ages, and many parents and volunteers assisted to make the event informative and enjoyable for all. We will be hosting more courses again next year.
- A motion was made by Rich and seconded by Dale to purchase a Milwaukee battery powered chainsaw with battery and charger for $450. We will use them in the groomers. Motion unanimously passed.
- A motion was made by Todd F and seconded by Dave to reinstate our membership in the NYS Farm Bureau for Wayne County. Motion passed unanimously. Todd will have the completed form sent to Steve.
- Need a template for LSR receipts when people or businesses donate items to the Club.
- March is the Club Elections. We need nominations for all four officer positions and six of the seven Board of Directors positions. Nominations are open right up to the vote at the March 5th
