April 3, 2025, Meeting Minutes

14 voting members were present.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM by President.

March 6, 2025, minutes and March 20, 2025 Executive meeting minutes were accepted with no changes.

Treasures Report:

• The current final year end Membership was 301.
• Previous Balance $45,694.60.
• Current Balance $25,187.20.
• Groomer Fund (Savings) $48,056.45.
• Expenses of $21,225.75 and Deposits of $718.35.
• Total Funds: $73,243.65.
• Year End report:
• Previous Balance 3/31/2024: $22,645.07.
• Current Balance: $25,187.20
• Expenses: $67,991.31 Deposits $70,533.44.

Trail Projects:

• Mudge Creek –DEC marked spots for soil sample cores. Once done Engineers should be able to continue forward.
• S42 north of Anchors Way Road crossing is plugged and needs to be cleared or repaired.
• Podger Rd gates installed.

Groomer Committee Report:

• Need to clean and repaint the metal repairs on the Tucker to prevent rust.
• New track for the Tucker was ordered, and Rich will meet trucker at Rt 414 Thruway exit when ready for delivery.
• We purchased a 24v winch for PB100. Need to install it.
• Loan for New Holland tractor was signed, and money was wired to seller. Will be picked up by one of our members.
• A drag has been found and will be purchased from the groomer savings account pending groomer committee inspection.
• The groomer committee is still looking for an appropriate mower and front blade for the tractor with funds from the groomer savings pending committee and BoD approval.
• Jeremy M. to investigate fleet cards for the groomers.

Miscellaneous:

• Jared is going to follow up for an October meeting with NY State Police and other Wayne County clubs next season.
• Dale and Andy are building a volunteer database to pass on to trail captains to help maintain trails.
• EOY check list for Phase III grant needs to be compiled in August.
