Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM
Motion to approve March 3, 2022, minutes was made by Rich R., seconded by Todd L., and unanimously approved.
President/Vice President Report:
- Election results read. Listed in the March 2022 Minutes.
- Would like to create a committee to take a look having people donate items to have a yard sale at the barn as another fund raiser.
Secretary Report:
- All GPS data and labor has been turned in to the county for the first phase of the trail grant.
- Super Raffle ticket progress was presented.
Treasures Report:
- Current membership 4. Final 2021-22 Membership 368
- Previous Balance $47,262.97.
- Current Balance $45,207.94 plus $14,038.31 reserve for groomer fund. The reserve includes the $10,120 netted from the auction sale of the LMC.
- Expenses of $5,020.03 and Deposits of $2,965.00.
- State expects the 70% funding check to be sent by August 2022.
Trail Projects:
- Bryan talked to the North Rose supervisor and they are going to put “no snowmobiles on sidewalks” signs up for snowmobiles that go to the Pitstop for fuel. Since it is not a trail the town is going to handle it.
- RR Crossing on C4 west of Stone Road delayed until the spring. Although a safety concern, the cost is large and could be used on other projects. Bryan was going to check with RR later in the spring for possibly getting larger mats.
- Mudge Creek- Bridge. Engineer needed. Going to ask for costs with the septic engineering tht is needed.
- Countryman to Ridge Rd improvement could start with DOT approval. Tim C is going to get an estimate to remove trees and level the ground.
- S49 west of Rt88 need trees and stumps removed. Jared H. to look at later in the spring or early summer. A stump grinder will need to be rented.
- Rich proposed adding a local connector trail from C4 just west of Rt 104A/104 north through his property to the RR bed.DOT permit to cross 104 will be required. To be looked at in the summer.
Groomer Committee Report:
- LMC was auctioned for $11,000. Netted $10,120 after fees.
- Groomers need to be pressure washed.
- Orion GPS units need to be plugged in and tested. PB is done Jeremy will install the Tucker this summer. NYSSA has unit for us to test. We will get more information from the conference.
- PB100 is going to have the adjustable wings welded so they are solid and the blade stiffened by Tim C.
- PB 100 needs rear window replaced, and the passenger seat locked to prevent touching back window. Also need a track link, and a rubber isolation for the light on top.
- Tucker replacement track is in and should be shipped soon. A motion presented by Sam and seconded by Todd to purchase a second track for the Tucker pending the cost. After further discussion it was decided to not purchase a second track.
- Tucker’s drag side to side skis drift. Float valve needs to be looked at this summer.
Miscellaneous:
- Bridge decks should be sealed. Ask for donations of old deck sealer that people may have left over and would like to donate. Colors do not matter. Update the wish list and include cordless impact drivers.
- Water should be available late summer Ted to get engineer for Septic. Engineer could be used for Mudge creek at the same time. Secretary to email Ted and Dave for recommended engineer.
- Door openers – removed from discussion. Can be brought up in the future.
- Gutters on the barn need cleaning. A suggestion was made for someone to call leaf guard and get a free estimate. LeafGuard Gutters | Seamless Rain Gutter Protection
- A suggestion was made to have a BoD meeting to put a budget in place and look at the 3-year plan. This needs to be an open meeting to the membership so a motion was made to have this meeting Thursday April 28th at the groomer barn starting at 6:30 PM. An agenda will follow with an email notification the weekend before the meeting.
