October 4, 2018 Minutes approved
- Treasures Report:
- Current Membership 55
- Current balance is $400
- Paid groomer payment and concrete for the barn floor
- Remaining 30% may not be available until January or later
- Membership money is distributed monthly so please join early to help bridge the gap between trail fund disbursements
- Trails:
- Please turn in labor hours for all trail work ASAP after work is completed. Please include date, hours, full names of all workers, and trail number(s) worked on. You can email the information from the contact us page of the web site, private message on our Facebook page, or bring it with you at the next meeting.
- Need 2 15’ culverts and 2 24’ culverts installed on C4 west of Whiskey Hill Rd along 104. We will need DOT permit
- Need to brush hog S41 (Old Railroad bed)
- Clyde trails need volunteers to help put up signs
- Towpath trail east of Clyde (S55) need to be brush hogged as well as parts of the new trail from Savannah to Red Creek
- Trail funding for section of C4 from Marion to Port Gibson has been restored connecting the east side of the state to the west
- All roads in Red Creek are CLOSED to snowmobiles except for Church St where S41 crosses it, to the Corner Stone and the Pit Stop gas station. Please stay off the sidewalks and follow the signs. 104A is also off limits. This will be strictly enforced.
- Groomers:
- Bell still needs a wheel replaced
- Remaining groomers are ready.
- Cab on the Tucker needs a bit of touchup to stop a spot of rust where water has been settling.
- Bombardier is in Savannah and being evaluated. No estimate yet on cost to get it operational to groom
- Groomer Barn:
- The concrete floor with the in floor heating has been installed.
- Have an estimate for gutters of approximately $700. This has been tabled for approval until next meeting.
- Jeremy has offered to donate roof snow bars to prevent gutter damage from when snow loads slide off the metal roof.
- 501 (c)(3):
- Need more money to submit. Tabled for approval until next meeting.
- Miscellaneous:
- We are planning another poker run this year Jan 11th – Jan 26th
- We plan on having the party at the Elks Club in Wolcott
- We have finalized 23 sponsors for the poker run
- We will need some meetings between the normal monthly club meetings. We will post when they will be held as well as the location which will be moved around the trail system
- November 10th Whiteout with a 50/50 will be held at Pier Fifty-three from 11am to 3 pm
- Super Raffle tickets will be available in a few weeks.
- Looking for someone to head up a Family club ride in February
