Section 2 – Membership Application

Applications for club membership shall can be made online from the club website, in writing, or by mail using the application on the web site addressed to:

The secretary of the club can also will provide forms for membership upon request. They will also be made available on the club’s website. The signature on the form, or digitally via the website(s) is an agreement by the applicant to abide by the by-laws of the club.  The Lakeshore Riders club membership dues will minimally be the required amount set by the New York State Snowmobile Association, henceforth known as NYSSA.  The current dues cost is posted on the “join our club” page of the website.  is $30.00 a year  The yearly membership is for an individual or family; this includes you, your spouse and any children 10-17 and includes a basic membership due to the NYSSA. A basic New York State Snowmobile Association (hence forth known as the NYSSA) club membership of $5.00 is also part of the due at application. There will be allowances for an exemption to the NYSSA basic club membership dues if the applicant is already a member of the NYSSA and has a valid NYSSA ID number or the name of the other club.  This club must Page 4 be one that has mandatory NYSSA membership.  The membership form shall have a location to apply this exemption information.  If this exemption is applied, then the dues required at application shall be $25.00 reduced by the current NYSSA dues amount. Cancelled Returned checks submitted for club dues shall result in a $35 charge. There can be, at the discretion of the Board of Directors, additional premium membership opportunities in the NYSSA made available to our members on our membership form. These premium level memberships opportunities are done for the convenience of our membership and are not required; however, if any premium level membership is chosen this shall be applied in lieu of the basic NYSSA membership. The membership period shall coincide with the club membership year. All general memberships shall use the Lakeshore Riders application.

Miscellaneous Item discussed:

• Bryan discussed Mudge Creek Project. DOT requested we look at contacting DEC to do a bridge again.
• President updated all the TRP paperwork for DEC, DOT, Clyde .is in process and almost done for September 1^st
• Treasurer updated the $3K fee for late tax filing is waive, Town of Huron in process of waiving property taxes, and past two years of Sales tax is still being worked on for refunding.
• Bridge Pub Local Trail still being worked on.
• President is going to Senecal Fall Powersports show and having a Booth for LSR, Hopefully he has some volunteers to help
