October 2, 2025, Meeting Minutes

12 voting members were present.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM by the President.

September 4, 2025, minutes and March 20, 2025, Executive meeting minutes were accepted with no changes.

Treasures Report:

• The current Membership 75.
• Previous Balance $5,406.59.
• Current Balance $15,120.77.
• Groomer Fund (Savings) $33,236.34.
• Expenses of $6,285.82.
• Deposits of $16,000.00. This was a transfer from savings.
• Total Funds: $48,357.11.
• Groomer loan balance $71,283.35.
• $200 cash prize donation was made for the 2026 NYSSA Super Raffle on behalf of Lakeshore Riders.
• Michelle, our accountant, has filed the past 2 years of tax returns.

Trail Projects:

• Mudge Creek –DOT reviewed cores and accepted. Now waiting on engineers to validate culvert weight load addition for the work we would like to perform.
• East Palmyra to Smith rd property has been sold. New owner has given us permission to continue using the trail.

Groomer Committee Report:

• Repainting the metal repairs on the Tucker to prevent rust has not been completed.
• Winch for PB100 needs to be connected. Extended cables are now here.
• A motion made by Mike and seconded by Bryan to purchase HLA brand, Euro mount, 48” x 1.5”, 5,500lbs. pallet forks for the New Holland not to exceed $1,450. The motion passed unanimously.
• A motion was made by Mike and seconded by Tim to purchase a Maschio Giraffa XL 210 SE 3 point hitch multi position flail mower for the New Holland tractor not to exceed $16,500. The motion passed 8 for 3 against 1 abstained.
• Jeremy is looking at getting fleet cards for the groomers.

Miscellaneous:

• 501 (c)(3) complete. We are still waiting on the state for tax exempt ID.  Once we have it we should be able to claim all the tax we paid since becoming 501(c))(3).
• Ted needs volunteers to represent the club Yarrows open house on November 29^th.
