Meeting called to order at 7:30 PM
November 3, 2022, minutes were accepted with no changes.
President/Vice President Report:
- Jeremy gave detailed update on changing our insurance company for the Groomers, UTV, Drags, and Facility. The coverage more than doubles and many more items are now covered. The total cost compared to the past is $1300 less expensive.
Treasures Report:
- Current membership 162.
- Previous Balance $12,210.85.
- Current Balance $40,595.74 plus $21,093.79 reserve for groomer fund.
- Expenses of $5,493.36 and Deposits of $33,878.25. Deposits include the 70% funding from the Trail Fund Grant.
Trail Projects:
- Major reroutes on S42 needed a bridge in which Fowler Farms donated. This included all material and labor. A huge thank-you to Fowler Farms for bridge.
- Pile of trees on S40 north of the Elks club in Wolcott still not moved. There is also a culvert washout that needs to be replaced on the same trail near the Junction just to the north. There is a culvert tht can be pulled and reused due to the trail reroute.
- Mudge Creek- Bridge.
- The scope of the project and work with the DOT is being changed to a less expensive use of a retaining wall and extend the trail next to the guard rail to allow for the groomer to safely traverse that portion of C4.
- Countryman to Ridge Rd improvement has been tabled to the 3 year plan also pending 501(c)(3) as there are some volunteers that may donate time and equipment to accomplish this.
- Tree and stumps on S49 west of Rt88 have been not been removed.
Groomer Committee Report:
- Both groomers need full service of fluids and filters. Jared to contact Mohawk for a filter kit.
- Mogul Master is repaired and Ted Painted it.
- PB hydraulic leak in the sight glass seal now has all the parts to repair it.
- Orion GPS units need to be plugged tested. They should auto register so that they can be renamed by Orion.
- Ted picked up the Tucker replacement track.
Miscellaneous:
- Town water project got pushed back and water will not be available until the spring 2023. Restroom needs to be completed along with a sink. We could use a volunteer to install and plumb the toilet and sink. We have a port-a-potty secured for the winter. – Tabled to the Spring
- A motion made by Rich, seconded by John, and unanimously approved to buy a 500-gallon Fuel tank and Pump for the Barn and have the 300 gallon tank moved to the location by Stones.
- 501(c)(3) status – Lawyer needs the financial statements. Steve will provide to get the process back on track.
