October 5, 2017 Minutes Approved.

• Treasures Report:
  • Current Membership 66
  • Current balance is $1500.52
  • Last season’s final 30% was not received as expected. (Approximately $8000) it is at the county but has not been distributed as of this meeting.
  • We should be receiving membership money from 66 that have registered from NYSSA. Please register early and help fund the club!
  • We have ordered 4000 2018 Super Raffle Tickets for sale by the club. We are donating a $500 prize for the raffle.
  • 2018 Super Raffle Tickets will be available for purchase after November 7th.
• Trails:
  • Trail signing has started. Please contact us via the contact us link on the web site or Facebook if  you can help.  We will put you in contact with the appropriate trail leader.
  • S40 from the Elks club in Wolcott to S41 through Red Creek has been signed.
  • S48 from Brick Schoolhouse Rd to the S48/S49 Jct, and S49 continuing west to Geneva St has been signed.
  • S55 from Savannah through Clyde to S48 Jct has been signed.
  • We will have a work party meeting at the groomer barn, 8AM Sunday November 19^th C4 west of 414 will be signed.  The trails will also be trimmed at that time.  Bring pole saws, chain saws and 4 wheelers.
  • New section of S49 by Quarry road needs some fill to raise the trail above the current level to keep water from settling on it. There are also a few more trees that need to be cut.
  • The gate posts on east end of Chimney Bluffs State Park have been installed. The gate will be installed at the end of the season.
  • We are still waiting for the DEC approval for all the trails that cross DEC land.
  • We need to repair some of the deer flaps where the trails pass through fenced orchards.
  • Savannah to Red Creek has all the final approvals. We need volunteers to help sign and maintain the trail.
  • Need to create 3 more Junction Kiosks. Please contact us if you can help.
• Groomers:
  • Still waiting on the few inquiries on the Bombardier Groomer.
  • Groomers are set for the season
• Advertising/Event Committee:
  • Started to sell more advertising for the upcoming season.
  • The price sheet located on Sponsor page https://lakeshoreriders.org/sponsors/ will remain that same for this season.
  • Planning a poker run on for January 27^th We will need volunteers to help at the event.  Please contact us if you can help.  Assistance is needed for the 50/50 and item auction.
  • We will be planning an outdoor Winter Party in February. We will need a volunteer team to run it (more details will follow)
• 501 (c)(3):
  • Final paperwork has been submitted to the lawyers. This should be in the final stages for approval.
